What Did We Do Well?:
On discharge we give a random selection of patients a
small leaflet entitled 'We value your opinion', wherein we ask the
question:
'What do you think we did well?'
Here are some of the responses we have had during January and
February 2012.

December 2011
Christmas time is always a difficult time to be admitted to any
hospital. Its a time when we receive many cards with best
wishes from patients and their families. Christmas 2011
was no exception and among them we received a Christmas card with
this beautiful poem written in.
'Remember Me?
T'was the days before Christmas and all through Orwell
ward,
There were ECGs and stents (just to get you in the
mood)!
I wore my Christmas hat, it was silly and red,
But it kept us all smiling as I trembled in my bed,
You all were so professional but also so very kind,
And you were all my heroes, so I hope you don't
mid,
That I've written this posem as I only can start,
To thank you sencerely from the bottom of my
heart.'
